week one in a year of stitches

I have joined One year of stitches on Facebook. It is basically doing at least one stitch a day for a year and ending up with something great at the end of it. I started on Jan. 3. My plan is to make 12 blocks with tangles of embroidery. I will write the month in each block. Not sure how I will quilt it yet.

The is a 3 dudes block made from a jelly roll I bought as a fund raiser from a group in Kenya, Africa. I took a guild class and haven't got any more of the blocks made yet. I like the looks of it though. Merry Christmas to everyone in blog land. Happy quilting. :)Carol

Two dog beds I made for Humane Society. They show front and back of each pillow.
This is the wonderful gift I got from my secret quilting pal. Wow. Thank you so much Sue Kemble. I have decided that it will hang over the back of our living room couch. It looks great. Just love it. Sue really spoiled me this year. Had a great Christmas dinner with our seniors group today. Merry Christmas to all and Happy quilting, :)Carol
